Beautiful place, extremely clean. Everything has been thought of to make the stay comfortable. There is an iPad to search for restaurants, Sonos to play music, tea, milk and juice. The place is warm and very private. This is my first ever airbnb and the experience was seamless. The architecture felt like an episode out of Grand Designs. I never got to meet the host but she would text to check in, seems very nice. This place has been designed to host travellers and feels like a Lux hotel

Better than the pictures! The hideaway had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay at The Hideaway. Rebecca was a fantastic host - incredibly accommodating and helpful. The accommodation itself had everything we could possibly have needed for a relaxing stay. Planning a return trip soon! Thanks again for a lovely stay.

My husband and I loved staying here so much. It is small and luxurious with everything you'll need. The retractable roof has set a new standard! It was magical. The bathroom is similarly luxurious. Location is about a 15-20 min walk from city centre and very quiet except for the birds. Would recommend!

The old school house was beautifully renovated. It was very private yet still light filled. It has all the mod cons with central heating, heated floors, music system and tv. The bath was just lovely! It is a great location for getting to Salamanca square and catching the ferry to MONA.

Montys hideaway is precious. Perfect for the weekender trip ( duffle bags and not big suitcases), this cozy, smart and well designed space is perfect. Heated floors and retractable roof makes for adult happiness. The bathroom is spacious and well heated. This is, by far the best Airbnb I have stayed at.

Beautifully presented piece of architecture. Compact, cosy and very functional. Will definitely return.
Fantastic unique place to stay. We felt like we had our very own James Turrell sky space sleeping beneath the open roof. Also very good value. By far and away the best air bnb I've ever stayed in.
The bathroom is an absolute sanctuary. Rain water shower! Very sleek. Comfy bed!
This is a great base from which to explore Hobart. The room is small but clean and has everything you need. The roof is just an amazing feature.
We stayed in the Tutors Apartment, a new addition to the Old Bishops Quarters, for two nights. We are locals and used the apartment to get ready for our wedding and then spend our first night as a married couple there. The apartment is amazing. It looks fantastic in the photos, but in person, it is even better. It has the best polished concrete floors I've seen and they're warm! The space is comfortable and cosy but modern and sleek at the same time. Even better Rebecca has real coffee and milk which just made my day. The design is beautiful and the finish impeccable. The shower is divine and the beds super warm. I had to get some help working the TV but that was my only problem. We had one hilarious moment when my make-up artist arrived and the watering system came on so she was stuck in her car but that was pretty quickly resolved. I could have quite easily stayed for much longer. Very highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely experience.
A separate cabin from the main quarters which provides the privacy you need. Rebecca provided all the amenities needed for a short stay - kettle, linen, toiletries, Netflix etc. The retractable roof was fun - if only it wasn't cloudy and cold while we were here!
Killer concept, well-executed. Only a short walk to Salamanca Place and Hobart CBD. Perfect for a couple, would definitely stay again.
Rebecca's little cubby hole was truly needed. A lovely space for 2 to have a secluded quiet night away, with everything you could need being provided. It is definitely somewhere I'd want to come back to and was hard to leave.
This converted ship container was awesome! It was a great central location, had all the modern gadgets one could desire and just the right amount of space for a couple or solo traveller. I wish I had time to stay longer than a night. The retractable roof was lovely to use in the sunny morning.
Great place highly recommended
Monty's Hideaway was a great place to base ourselves in Hobart. Rebecca was very communicative to the lead up to our stay. The place was well designed, clean and cosy. The retractable roof was a great feature - star gazing in bed is an experience to be had! We will definitely come back when we're in Hobart next.
Beautiful heritage home with gorgeous views. Easy access and relaxing.
